How are Clouds Formed?

Our class loved using pipets and filling “clouds” with rain, hail, snow, and sleet. When the “clouds” got heavy enough they started “raining” down. It was fun to see the kids get into it and learn about the water cycle.

Christmas Around the World

For Christmas Around the World the students were able to “get on an airplane” and go to Mexico, Germany, Argentina, America, and Israel. They had a blast participating in activities that children around the world play during the holidays, making Poinsettias, and learning about the special traditions around the world.

Thanksgiving Feast and Activities

We had a lot fun today learning about the pilgrims and the Native Americans today. We planted corn, made butter, sailed ships, had a Thanksgiving feast, and played Native American games. ¬†Thank you for all of the help that we had today, we couldn’t have done it without you!

The Native American representatives for our district took some time to come to our first grade class today and share a little bit about their culture. We loved learning about how they made their blankets, where they lived, and what their babies slept in. They are wonderful people who taught us a lot!
